REGISTRATION IS OPEN - Joint EGIR-MASLD Study Group Meeting, Pisa, Italy- December 1-3, 2025
The annual meeting brings together experts in MASLD, diabetes, and insulin resistance, aiming to facilitate discussions among them on cutting-edge research, clinical trial results, and the latest developments in diabetes management. This year, the programme will cover the following key topics:
1) Therapeutic strategies in cardiometabolic diseases
2) Inflammation and metabolism in metabolic disorders
3) Precision medicine approach in metabolic diseases
4) Cardiometabolic risk factors
5) Impact of nutrition, sex, and genetics in metabolic disorders

We accept abstracts presenting original research results in both clinical and basic sciences. Abstracts reporting data already presented at national or international meetings in the year 2025 are also eligible, as well as research published no more than six months prior to submission.
Expected notification of abstract acceptance October 27, 2025.
Three awards of €500 each will be assigned to the best oral presentations submitted by researchers under the age of 42: one for a study related to MASLD, one for a study on insulin resistance and cardiometabolic diseases, and one for the best research in the biological field, dedicated to the memory of Valter Lubrano.
